WWE issued the following statement in regards to technical problems during last nights NXT Arrival live event:
“During tonight’s live NXT ArRIVAL special, we unfortunately experienced technical difficulties, which are to be expected when launching a new digital network. We will work aggressively to solve these glitches and deliver quality service. The complete event will be available on-demand overnight. ”
Well on one hand it’s good news in the sense that a lot of people were logging on and watching the live special, and it’s bad in the sense that they couldn’t handle the demand. No one knows for certain how many people are subscribers at this point and how many were watching last night BUT i sure as hell hope that the audience for WrestleMania which is probably double or triple whatever last night’s number is doesn’t have to go through this. I reached out to our readers last night on twitter and it appears the issue effect most if not all devices as opposed to being linked to any one device. I was able to get back on the stream after about 5 mins. The network has been launched for less than a week and has already been tapped into submission several times. Hopefully WWE & MLBAM can work the kinks out before Mania gets here. I tend to be a bit more patient than others and i think it’s gonna be fixed and be amazing but that said, i can certainly understand why people are upset.
